The Airbnb is in a lively area near several bus stations and just steps from H Street, one of D.C.’s best known neighborhoods for dining, nightlife, and live music. H Street has something for everyone trendy restaurants, craft cocktail bars, local breweries, and theaters with performances ranging from jazz to comedy. It’s a fun place to explore if you enjoy an energetic, city vibe. That said, you don’t have to walk through the busiest blocks if you prefer quieter routes there are plenty of alternative ways around the neighborhood. Like in any major city, I generally don’t recommend being out alone late in residential areas, but during the day and evening H Street is full of people and activity. If you’re looking for a lively D.C. experience, H Street is right outside your door. If you’d rather relax in a quieter setting, you can easily avoid the nightlife and enjoy other nearby neighborhoods instead.
